The Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice

Journeying around the sun,
at Yule, she turns furthest from the light.
Here In the dark of the long night she is veiled,
and here she comes to the fullness of her union with creation.
To enter is to hold Death closest to our heart.
And as we do, we gently move through the veil .

Slowly we come to a clearing, deep stillness is around.
Our Journey from the sun has come to its full.
And in rare quietness we sit,
time is no more

Here in this place, we gently slip into the void
and bathe in the energies of creation.
when we are cleansed, and fully drunken from the cup,
she continues on her journey around, and we edge back closer to the light.
slipping out through her veils in birth, we are new, and journeying to the sun.

There is a beautiful audio lecture to go with this poem. Its about the energies of
this time of year and their relationship to the breath. -

About Holographic Breathing

I became involved in meditation and healing in the seventies. This very quickly became my passion and occupation. later in the eighties I founded the Lotus School of Tai Chi and Healing Arts.  This was a good time in my life, my school was popular and I was teaching what I loved.

Unfortunately at the beginning of 2000 I became ill, I had contracted Lymes disease and by 2002 I had to close my school. I surrendered to the illness, and with some synchronicity also discovered and developed a new breathing system which helped me recover from the lymes Disease. This breathing system I called Holographic Breathing. Teaching this has now become my passion.

For more information on the nature of holographic breathing and how it evolved, it is good to listen to the lecture "The Journey Of Holographic Breathing", which is no this audio download

there are pictures for this download at - http://holographic-breathing.com/3/index.php/pictures

Or read the article "The Journey of Holographic Breathing" - This article is about my journey discovering Holographic Breathing, how this breathing system works, and how it opens though the holography of our body. In Holographic Breathing our anatomy becomes palpable, sacred geometry, and is reflected in and around us. What better way to connect to the oneness, and interrelationship of everything, other than through our body, and the breath. -

There are many seminars and levels to Holographic Breathing but the first ones are free of charge  For free audio seminars - http://holographic-breathing.com/3/index.php/free-audio-tuition

Therapist Training

Therapist Training

Recently many people have been asking for a therapist training in Holographic Breathing and that is an area that I would now like to advance.  So I have arrange the first one.

Also if you are in a different country or far away, it is now possible to learn how to be a Holographic Breathing practitioner in telephone tutorials.

Hear is a testimonial from Jane Okondo from the last training -

I first experienced the Holographic Breathing with martin Jones at the Global Inspiration Conference In the UK last july.  I found this way of breathing so deep, gentle and grounding and have continued to work with him in individual sessions. When Martin said he was intending to start training people how to share the journeys with others, I felt a warm satisfaction.  The oppertunity to share something I love. Martin's pace and style of teaching is as grounded and gentle as the work. As with all things that have a simplicity.  when learning them, you begin to appreciate just how rich they and layered they really are.

On the second day we worked with the spiritual energy. This was a profound experience that I am still present to in my body

Jane Okondo -  www.lovesbody.co.uk

One of the main things I noticed on this training was how deeply the participants were going to the energies of Holographic Breathing and many mentioned that it became there natural breathing.

In the new training we will be spending time in pairs learning how to teach Holographic Breathing and  how to connect to the higher energies and intelligence of this system.

As there are a growing number of mothers using Holographic Breathing for fertility and through pregnancy and birth. We will also be spending time learning how to work in this very rewarding  area.

Therapist training are now happening directly with me please contact for information

Workshops and Telephone Tuition

Holographic Breathing introduction evening workswhops

Holographic breathing is a revolutionary new breathing system. Its principles are easy to learn and promote healing and well being. As Holographic Breathing unfolds every cell and energy in the body starts to breathe. This opens to a way of being where every thing is interrelated and whole.
Martin Jones is the founder of Holographic Breathing and in these evening tutorials he will be teaching the an introduction seminar and answering questions. You will be given the chance to have future follow up classes if this is something you would like to learn fully.
In learning this participants will have a powerful evolutionary tool that they can practice. Holographic Breathing is a natural unfoldment of our selves and can be practiced as a meditation or through the day integrating into our lives.
You just have to bring your self and an openness to try something new. There is more information at www.holographic-breathing.com

Introductory evenings and workshops in new areas

I have also started teaching introductory evenings and follow on seminars in towns near the Ridgeway and Icknield way which extends on from the Ridgeway. these are generally working very well. In the introductory evenings I teach the first seminar in holographic breathing so people have a powerful evolutionary tool they can take away with them. Many of the people participating want the carry on to further seminars so I have been setting these up in the same areas. These tutorials and seminars so far are in Northampton, Hitchin, Luton, Chesham, High Wycombe, Oxford, Marlborough, Bristol and Brighton.

The first seminar is also still available in free audio and text versions from -

Seminar Two

I am also teaching the second seminar in many areas. -

This seminar is a must for any one who enjoys and finds Holographic Breathing beneficial. It is open to all participants who have learnt the first seminar or been to an introductory evening.

In the second seminar we learn the sideways expansion of the breath.

There is a specific way and dynamic that brings this sideways motion into being. Once this principle is learnt we can then see how this motion of the breath expands  through whole the body.

In the first seminar we are more looking at the vertical motion of the and breath. When the side ways motion is added to this Holographic Breathing becomes three dimensional, and the effect and benefits rise many fold. The whole quality of Holographic Breathing changes to a new level.

The vertical motion in holographic breathing has a more male quality and the sideways a more female quality. They balance each other and everything becomes softer and more fluid.

In this seminar as well as working generally through the whole body we also work with the brain, spine and central nervous system. Most participants find that they can feel and see these areas in a new light.

We also start working with facial balancing, how the bones of the face move, and how this affects the body.

This seminar is an essential part of the make up of Holographic Breathing.

Even though we are adding more material the effect is that holographic Breathing becomes more whole and easier. There is a sense that everything is more fluid and on a new level

Telephone Tuition

I have been teaching holographic breathing over the telephone for many years. It is interesting that telephone tuition works so well with Holographic Breathing.  After trying this, nearly all my clients prefer this way of learning. These session are also available with skype for participants over seas.

The fee for Telephone Tuition is £50 per hour

Text Version of Seminar One

Here is a text version of the first seminar in holographic Breathing. After this it is good to continue on to the Free text, audio or video versions which are at

these fully complete the first seminar and take the process much further.

There is a basic structure of holographic Breathing which is -

The lips are closed and the breath is through the nose.

The upper surface of the tongue is on the roof of the mouth.

On the in breath the jaw gently opens and on the out breath the jaw gently closes.

The movement of the jaw is small – about half the width of your finger

Once this basic structure is integrated and starts moving together it becomes a natural internal movement which unfolds with the breath.

This first seminar in Holographic Breathing is probable one of the hardest in the series as people are learning something totally new.

I have made this sequence of exercises to help people learn. Each of these exercises is an integral part of Holographic Breathing and when they are all put together Holographic Breathing starts. Once Holographic Breathing becomes natural there is no need to come back to these initial exercises.

It is also important to learn the different components correctly otherwise Holographic Breathing will not work.

Holographic Breathing is intrinsically new way of breathing and in that it can take some application to learn.  Two of the places that people can have a bit of trouble are integrating the movement of the jaw with having the lips closed and the tongue on the roof of the mouth. Also until Holographic Breathing becomes natural it may feel a bit awkward, so it is important to do the last exercise long enough for Holographic Breathing to integrate. I have emphasized these points through the exercises. At a certain point Holographic Breathing just clicks into place and becomes as easy and natural as our normal breathing.

FIRST SEMINAR

The eyes are closed through these exercises and it is good to be sitting comfortably.

1 exercise

Have the lips closed and move the jaw up and down in a relaxed way.

The movement of the jaw is small - about half the width of your finger, or about the height of these m’s     mmmmmmmm.

It is important to have the lips closed all of the time as this produces one of the dynamics of Holographic Breathing. Sometimes at the beginning there can be a tendency to open the lips as the jaw opens, but it is only a small motion of the jaw and you should be able to keep the lips closed through the whole movement. It’s a bit like gently chewing, generally when we eat the lips are closed and the jaw is moving.

As you are doing this movement also be aware of the breath through the nose.

Let the movement of the jaw be gentle and relaxed.

Also even though the lips are closed as the jaw is moving try to let the lips be relaxed in this position.

Relax the whole face

Relax the back of the neck and head.

Relax the whole body

Do this for about 1 minute

If you find this difficult you may be making the movement of the jaw to large or stressful - experiment making the movement softer and smaller.

2

In this exercise let the jaw be still and relaxed.

The lips are closed and the breath is through the nose.

Place the upper surface of the tongue on the roof of the mouth, the tip of the tongue is touching or close to the front teeth.

Only put as much of the upper surface of the tongue on the roof of the mouth as feels comfortable maybe about an inch.

Relax the tongue in this position.

Be aware of the breath through the nose.

As you are doing this relax the face,

Relax back of the neck and head,

and relax the whole body.

Become used to having the tongue on the roof of the mouth as you breathe.

Breathe in this way for about 4 minutes

Check it is the upper surface of the tongue is on the roof of the mouth and as much as feels comfortable. The tongue should just float up there.

Note this is different to Tai Chi where only the tip of the tongue is on the roof of the mouth.

It is good to become used to having the tongue on the roof of the mouth whilst being aware of the breath. The more natural this feels, the easier it is to have the tongue there while the jaw is gently moving in Holographic Breathing.

3

In this exercise we combine the first and second exercise.

First have the lips closed, the upper surface of the tongue on the roof of the mouth and breathe through the nose as from exercise two.

Then as well as this, start gently moving the jaw up and down, as from exercise one.

The movement of the jaw is about half the width of your finger or about the height of these m’s      mmmmmmmmmm

It may be a little more difficult to move the jaw with the tongue on the roof of the mouth.

Try to keep lips closed and relaxed, as the jaw is moving.

Also be aware of the breath through the nose.

Move the jaw gently, in a relaxed way and at a comfortable speed.

Also relax the whole face.

Relax the back of the neck and head.

Relax the whole body

Do this for about 1 minute

It should be possible to have the tongue on the roof of the mouth and gently move the jaw.

If not you may be making the movement of the jaw to large.

4

We are now going to continue with part three and then also align the movement of the jaw with the breath. In this exercise we are starting to do Holographic Breathing.

Continue with exercise 3

The lips are relaxed and closed.

The tongue is relaxed and on the roof of the mouth.

The jaw is relaxed and gentle opening and closing,

And be aware of the breath through the nose

Try to slow down the movement of the jaw, until it is moving very slowly and gentle, also stay aware of the breath through the nose.

Continue doing this, then when you feel ready - as you breathe in slowly and gently letting the jaw open, and as you breathe out slowly and gently letting the jaw close.

You are now starting Holographic Breathing!

Again it may be a little difficult to keep the lips closed as the jaw is moving, but just be relaxed and gentle with it and it should all fall into place.

The movement of the jaw starts as a doing, but as you go longer let the jaw become an expression of the breath and then every thing starts to relax–

As you breathe in the jaw relaxes open

As you breathe out the jaw relaxes closed.

It is like the jaw is starting to breathe.

Let the breath move the jaw.

Breathing in the jaw opens and breathing out the jaw closes.

It’s also a bit like the breath in the body is moving the jaw in this way.

Breathing in the jaw opens and breathing out the jaw closes.

Relax the lips. Notice they can be relaxed and stay closed as the jaw moves with the breath.

Relax the tongue. Notice the tongue can be relaxed and stay on the roof of the mouth as the jaw moves.

Relax the whole face.

Relax the back of the neck and head.

Relax the whole body.

It is important to be doing the movement the right way round –

The jaw opens on the in breath and the jaw closes on the out breath.

It is important to have the tongue on the roof of the mouth whilst you are doing this. If you find this difficult - put tongue on the roof of the mouth for a while and then let it come off and then after a bit put it back, until it becomes natural. It is generally just a knack.

After a while the movement from the mouth and jaw moves through the body. Carry on with the Holographic Breathing and -

Be aware of the abdomen and chest breathing open and closed with the jaw.

Be aware that it can feel like every cell is breathing open and closed with the jaw.

Notice that in a subtle way it can feels like the whole face head and neck have started to breath with the mouth and jaw.

Be aware of the whole body including the jaw, mouth, face, head and neck breathing together.

Do this in a relaxed and easy way.

Spend about 15 min’s doing this so as to start being used to it.

Holographic Breathing is very relaxing and natural but occasionally it may feel a bit awkward at first. At a certain point the motion of the jaw becomes part of the breath. At this point the jaw, the face, cranium and whole body relax into the gentle motion of the breath and it feels relaxed and lovely. So if this breathing feels uncomfortable or stressful in any way here are some things to help through this transition. –

Let the breath move the jaw.

Try a smaller movement of the jaw.

Slow down the breath and relax.

Slow down and relax the jaw.

Notice the jaw can be relaxed and still move with the breath.

Relax the tongue.

Notice the tongue can be relaxed and stay on the roof of the mouth.

Relax the lips.

Notice the lips can be relaxed and stay closed as the jaw moves

Find ways of doing it more softly, more slowly or smaller. Like Tai Chi of the mouth and breathe.

This can sometimes be awkward if people already have a lot of tension or control in their jaw. Holographic Breathing will often unravel this tension and as this happens everything should become much softer and easier.

After this it is good to be aware of different areas of your body breathing with the jaw. This will take the emphasis  through the whole body rather than just the jaw.

The audio versions are free and cover important further aspects of this including how Holographic Breathing moves and grounds through the whole body. This makes it far gentler and easier, especially as you do not have to focus on the text and can just follow the audio. These are all on the Holographic Breathing web site. There are also many audio lectures on how holographic Breathing can help with health, meditation, fertility, birth, alignment, natural slimming and asthma.
